Your writing

Your text stays in the browser until you press Analyze. Loupe then sends it to its application, its detector service, and an external model provider to produce the two readings.

Loupe does not save submitted text or generated readings to your account. They remain in the current browser tab until you leave or reload it. Copying or exporting a report creates a copy under your control; observations can quote your text.

External processing

The model assessment uses OpenRouter and a routed model provider. Their processing and retention rules also apply. We do not promise that external services never retain submitted content. Avoid submitting material you are not permitted to share with these services.

The detector runs on Loupe’s configured scoring infrastructure. Each completed reading’s Details identifies the service used.

Accounts and payments

We retain your email address, account and session records, credit balance, payment identifiers, and scan accounting metadata such as word counts, price, status, and a keyed request fingerprint used to prevent duplicate charges. A document hash also accompanies the transient result and any exported report; it is an identifier, not anonymization.

Sign-in emails pass through our email delivery service. Card payments are handled by Stripe; Loupe does not receive your full card details.

Cookies and operations

A session cookie keeps you signed in. Operational records help us limit abuse, reconcile payments, and diagnose failures. The application is designed to keep submitted writing out of those records.
