What Loupe provides
Loupe offers an exploratory learned pattern signal and a separate model assessment for English writing. Both can make mistakes. Scores, observations, and highlighted regions do not establish who wrote a passage or how it was created.
Do not use a Loupe result as the sole basis for an accusation, disciplinary action, or a decision about someone’s education or employment. You remain responsible for how you use the readings.
Your account and submissions
Use an email address you control. Only submit writing you are permitted to process through Loupe and its external services. Do not use the service to interfere with other users, bypass usage limits, or misuse accounts or payment systems.
Prices and prepaid credit
The workspace shows the price before a scan is submitted. Prices are based on started blocks of 1,000 words. Top-ups purchase prepaid credit through Stripe and do not start a subscription.
The scan price is reserved before processing. Unavailable readings are refunded; a partially completed scan charges only for its completed portion. A failed scan is refunded in full. Cancelling a browser request or closing a tab may not stop processing that has already started.
A payment-return page is not proof that credit has arrived. Your account balance updates after payment confirmation. Check your balance before repeating a payment or a scan after a connection failure.
Availability and results
Loupe may refuse unsupported input or be temporarily unavailable. Results are not stored for later retrieval. Export any reading you want to keep before leaving the page.
Methods, limits, and prices may change. The current price and available methods are checked before each scan.
